MAY 26, 2020

CLEAN EXTERIOR WALLS & WINDOWS  It’s not only the inside of your home that needs to be kept clean of dirt and grime, the outside of your home should be just as spotless.  Clean your outer walls with soapy water and was your windows inside and out.

FRESH COAT OF PAINT  A new coat of paint is like a face-lift for your home.  Try to pick a neutral color that fits in with the neighborhood.  I

KEEP LAWN CLEAN & TIDY  Your front yard creates your home’s first impression to prospective buyers, so make sure that your lawn is tidy, trimmed,  and shrubs and flower beds are well tended.  If you are in an HOA community, you may have to work with the other owners your association, but I’m sure they’ll all appreciate a nice yard too! And selling at a higher value helps other owners out too!

CLEAN & REPAIR THE ROOF  If your roof is damaged, dirty, or missing shingles, it can have a very negative impact on the value of your home.  Make sure your gutters are clean and clear as this will show you have maintained your home well.
